On Tuesday evening, the EPILOR network brought together around thirty health professionals in Nancy around the adult and pediatric brain, for a convivial evening of exchange and learning.

This event illustrates a trend we’re increasingly seeing in the field: neurologists’ interest in long-term video EEG keeps growing, reflected in a rising number of exchanges and discussions on the topic.
The evening’s program was a good example of this, with a presentation of clinical cases by Pr Louis Maillard, neurologist and head of the epilepsy monitoring unit at CHRU Nancy, followed by an explanation from Nelly Duran on the practical steps for setting up and technically monitoring the exam for the patient.
The discussions that followed confirmed this momentum: participants’ questions touched as much on the clinical cases presented as on the practical, real-world use of VLD at home.
A convivial, shared moment, and a discussion that offers a glimpse of the topics likely to shape upcoming neurology congresses.
